The Suitcase Archive (2016)

This series formed part of a larger project exploring the relationship between place, memory and the photographic image. The model for the series was American artist Cecelia Condit, who crossed my path during the summer of (2015). The work is however more autobiographical, addressing my own experience of returning to Ireland after many years abroad, and the sense of loss at the impossibility of return.
